C-3PO & R2-D2
C-3PO is a protocol droid built by
the ten years old Anakin Skywalker. He speaks thousands of different languages
and hates flying. He talks quite a lot and sometimes he is deactivated.
R2-D2 is a droid who can do everything
that's connected with computers of space stations or space ships.
In the possession of Luke they
accompany him and guide him to Leia so that she can inform the Alliance
of the deadly menace by the Empire, the Death Star. They escort the whole
team through all the troubles, sometimes as a help, sometimes not.
Yoda
Yoda is about 850 years old and still
looks good. He's a member of Jedi Council Chamber, where the oldest and
wisest Jedis discuss the most important questions.
When he meets Luke the first time
he is nearly 900 years old. He teaches Luke the Force but he goes away
before he has finished his schooling.
When Luke comes back Yoda is close
to become one with the Force. He tells him the last secret before he dies:
Darth Vader is Luke's father.
Anakin Skywalker / Darth
Vader
As a young boy of ten years Anakin
already has great capacities in using the Force. He's a genius with electronic
and machinery and does everything by himself, from droids to ships. It
seems he can feel what makes an engine work. He wants to be a great pilot
and explore the whole universe. He doesn't know yet what the future brings.
Together with Amidala, the queen
of Naboo, he has a child. In fact there are two children but he believes
it's only one.
As Darth Vader, the right hand
of the Emperor, he works in the name of death, fear and terror. He would
kill his own son to save his master. He follows Luke through the whole
galaxy and finally finds him in Cloud City. They fight and Vader cuts off
Luke's hand.
They meet again on Endor. Again
they fight but this fight is different. It's the last and determined fight.
Being struck by the energy of the Emperor, Luke is more dead than alive.
Vader grapes his master and throws him down the shaft.
He dies as a Jedi and is buried
in the fire.
Senator Palpatine / Emperor
Senator Palpatine is one of the most
liked and respected person in the Galactic Senate. He does everything for
the sector he represents; a sector of a hundred star systems. But behind
this nice mask is an evil plan that grows more and more.
More than thirty years later it
seems he has made it: An empire as big as he has imagined. His student
Darth Vader is his most devoted subordinate.
He builds the Death Star, a incredible
big space station with the power to destroy a whole planet. But his plans
to conquer the universe are disturbed by the Alliance.
Angry he gives the order to build
a new Death Star. In his mad mind he wants to drag Luke to the dark site
of the Force. He wants him to be his new student. Yet Luke isn't that stupid.
He resists him, with great difficulties but he does.
Darth Vader, his own student, kills
him.
Qui-Gon Jinn
He's a master of the Jedi but he has
his own will. He doesn't listen to the Jedi Council Chamber. He's rebellious
and wants to teach the young Anakin, although the Chamber decided not to
do so.
The fight with the Sith-student
Darth Maul is his final fight. Before he dies he takes the promise from
Obi-Wan that he will teach Anakin.
Amidala, Queen of Naboo
As a fourteen year old girl Amidala
is already the queen of a planet called Naboo. This planet is in great
danger: it is attacked. With the Jedi Jinn and Kenobi she flees to Coruscant
to lectures their problem to the Senate. Palpatine is very helpful. But
the senate doesn't want to act so Amidala goes back to Naboo and frees
her planet by herself.
Secret looks to the little Anakin
tell her feelings for him, although he is four years younger than she.
Amidala will be (is) the mother of Luke and Leia.
Ewoks
Ewoks are the habitants of Endor. They
have primitive weapons and don't know much about the world around them.
But they are ready to help the Alliance. Actually, they help C-3PO because
they think he's something like a god. The consequence is the same. With
their help the Alliance can destroy a lot of the weapons of the Empire
and the second Death Star.
Jabba the Hut
Jabba is the boss of the criminals
and smugglers. He is the one who orders to freeze Han up in carbonite.
He has his eyes everywhere and even has connections to the Empire.
His favourite hobby is to watch
girls dancing. And when he gets enough he pushes a bottom and the floor
goes up under the feet of the dancer. She falls down and stands eye to
eye with the most awful monster one has ever seen. This monster is always
hungry.
