Sitting by you petting the kitty
Looking in your eyes head tilted to the side
You being you all pretty
Caught in a strange place
Knew better than to fall for you
Then to look into your face
You look like an angel yet too young
To want you is to put my mouth on the barrel of a gun
Keeping it secret doesn't work for me
I don’t want to leave people in the dark
My love should send out sparks
For all to see not shocked just looking at me
Too many obstacles stand in our way
Things will remain the same till the day
When you’re out on your own and answer to none
Then call me to have more than just fun
Until then I shall look and never touch
Because I myself want to much
To hold the one I’m with throughout the night
Reaching over her to turn out the light
Whispering things in her ear to help her relax
Rubbing her shoulders in a bubble bath
Things I know we’ll never have
