Ron & Sharon Build a House - Moving Day
March 17, 2004  -  Finally, it is moving day and the guys from ... have to make 3 trips with their large truck to empty the storage locker....didn't realize we had so much stuff. My sister, Margaret, was a great help packing and we could have used her help unpacking all of these boxes!
The garage gets filled up with the stuff that is being donated to charity or has to be sorted through......didn't we sort this before we packed........?
These were all boxes of books....the poor guy stuck carrying this load upstairs into Sharon's office drew the short straw!
The sitting nook in the master bedroom becomes a good place for boxes of socks and shoes.......hey, some of those were Ron's shoes.
The empty boxes and bags of wrapping paper filled up the interior courtyard really fast....can you say recycle.
Kind of like before and after.......... above, Ron unpacking boxes and to the right, the butler's pantry after Ron has emptied a bunch of boxes of glassware.
Today's goal is to find and unpack all the kitchen boxes.  We will have dinner on our plates and use real silverware......okay, I ran out of paper plates and discover you shouldn't run the plastic picnic silverware through the dishwasher on the santize cycle..........
Update - It only took 4 weeks to get all of the boxes (hey, the one's in my office don't count...) unpacked and the pictures hung.
Ron celebrates our hard work unpacking by using real glasses and silverware.....no plastic cups with dinner!
