

九十年代初,新捷運開始淘汰平治OF1413、OF1417及富豪B57等舊單層巴士,同時引進了三款來自歐洲的單層城市巴士,以作取代;它們分別是德國的平治O405、瑞典的富豪B10M以及其同鄉:紳佳N113CRB。
紳佳N113CRB在新捷運車隊中所佔的數目,只不過是200輛而已;不過,紳佳巴士配有原廠的DSC1104引擎,配合原廠自動波箱,能提供達254匹馬力,為上述三款單層巴士之冠。其車尾橫置引擎的佈局,優點是能使車廂地板平坦整齊,但卻佔用了部份車廂空間,同時增加了波箱跟車軸之間的動力耗損。
在新捷運的紳佳N113CRB車隊當中,150輛是非空調巴士,而另外的50輛則為空調巴士;踏入2000年,部份的非空調紳佳N113CRB巴士陸續被改裝成為空調巴士,其車廂內部亦同時被翻新。

In the early 90s, SBS Transit started replacing Mercedes Benz OF1413, OF1417 and Volvo B57 with European-built single-deck city buses. These included Mercedes Benz O405 from Germany, Volvo B10M and Scania N113CRB from Sweden.
A total of 200 Scania N113CRBs have been introduced. They are all fitted with Scania DSC1104 engine together with Scania fully-automatic gearbox. The power output is 254bhp at maximum, which is the greatest among the three mentioned above. The rear-mounted engine design can provide a flat interior platform, but it will increase the undesirable power loss between the gearbox and the rear axle.
The N113CRB fleet is composed of 150 air-conditioned buses and 50 non air-conditioned ones. Since 2000, part of the non air-conditioned N113CRBs have been refurbished and converted to air-conditioned ones.
