Steve has been collecting and learning about art since the early 70s. He began with an interest in nineteenth century art, but now concentrates on the twentieth century. His collection is extensive, and only a small portion has been seen by the public. Steve has also historically been very secretive about his collection, refusing to show it until now.

What is interesting is his embracing of the dealer/collector's view of the value of art and the determination of what is great art. His is not an art historian's perspective.

The articles here are divided among the Bellagio exhibit in Las Vegas in 2001, articles about his favorite artists or artists he has collected, and other items about his collection in general. Some are about his attempts to sell paintings in his collection. All of the articles provide an interesting overview of a subject he holds dear and rarely reveals.
