You wander amidst the throngs of the Great Market. The bustle never stops, all hours of the day and night. Almost everything imaginable is on sale here, from slaves to silks to swords, and much that is more exotic.

Possible purchases include:

A fine steel greatsword from a weaponsmith - 45 gold pieces (2d6 damage, can't use with shield)

A razor-sharp dagger, likewise - 2 gold pieces (1d6 damage, -1 Skill in combat)

A heavy steel shield - 10 gold pieces (+1 skill in combat, can't use with greatsword)

A crossbow (35gp) and quiver of 10 bolts (2gp) (2d6 damage on a hit)

A delectable sweetmeat from a vendor - 1 copper piece. (tasty)

A nubile slavegirl from the block of the Iron Ring Slavers - 10 gold pieces. (Stamina 4, can carry equipment, will not fight)

A stout male slave from the block of Icera the Slave Mistress - 8 gold pieces. (Stamina 6, can carry equipment, will not fight)

South of the Great Market lies the Silk Quarter, while to the west is Tarkane Street, and beyond it the busy workshops of the Artisan's Quarter. To the east is the SeaDogs' District, abutting Imarr's ocean docks. To the north, Chain Alley runs along the southern edge of the Slave Quarter.
