About us
Book Store is a quaint bookstore located in Thunder
Bay, Ontario. We sell a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction
novels that can be enjoyed from both children and adults. The
Book Store opened up in April 1997 and has been a favorite for
bookworms all across Thunder Bay. Our books are not only
available in the store but can be purchased online and shipped
directly to your home! Our mission is to provide a learning
experience to anybody who visits the store and a vision to one day
expand to other cities in Ontario and possibly across Canada.
Personnel
Dana Dickerson - CFO
A self-proclaimed globe-trotter who enjoys travelling the world and chronicling her experiences along the way. Married to Senior Lead Technical Director at Rockstar Games, her and her two children summer in the Hamptons and winter in Gruyere, Switzerland. She too has a puppy named Jasper.
Rebecca Zaman - CEO
Our founder and CEO Rebecca Zaman developed the company in 1997 right out of her basement. She came up with the business plan when she was having trouble finding a decent bookstore in Thunder Bay and voila Book Store was born! She now resides in sunny California with her husband and two pugs, Pretzel and Peanut.
