My Created Warcraft III Maps
| Back in the day, I believe when The Frozen Throne was preparing to come out, Blizzard had a Warcraft III map contest. Anyone could submit 3 maps they made to be considered for using in The Frozen Throne. I had already made one map for fun, so I made two more hoping to be chosen. I haven't made any custom rules maps because they are seriously insanely complicated, but I used to be pretty good with the triggers for Starcraft maps. So there are only melee maps here. All of them have some flaws but I gave up too long ago to bother fixing them now. Here are the maps for you to download if you want:
Pure and Utter Chaos - This was the first map I made. It is made for 3v3. It is pretty good and taken from the style of Timbermaw Hold (a now obsolete map) in that the bases are in a general shared area. Despairity - This was the most serious map. It is made for 2v2. I was actually trying to make this one good enough for the contest. It is good except it is too small. Part of the idea was to make it easier to attack and enforce attacking, but it is still small. I thought it would be the right size for what I wanted, but a while into making it I realized I should have made it on the next higher size setting. However, it is highly playable, you just might have to chop some trees for more space. There also aren't many creeps. Four on Four Madness - This map is a big joke, but it is still awesome. This map is made on the smallest map size setting, but made for 4v4 and 4v4 only. There are trees all around the perimeter, across the center, and down the center. So there are 4 extremely tiny squares divided from each other. In each square there is one ally and one enemy. So even though it is 4v4 teams, there are 4 separate 1v1 fights going on and you can't do anything to help your ally unless you have defeated your one opponent and chopped through the trees to get to your ally.
