It's a cave unlike others. It is bright, quiet, and still. It's serene with patches of lush and soft greens decorated by beautifully colored flowers. The sun shines through the fiber glass window above.

Snapping your head around and jerking yourself away from the airy voice behind you, you let out an involuntary "Ahhhhhhh!".
The gold and silver melcey cocks his head, unconcerned, and gives you an eerily content smile that even a glare can't match.
You flinch
He continues his sentence comfortably with his eyes closed; the same smile still hanging around.
That a dark melcey such as I, would enjoy light and serenity.He gives a lighthearted chuckle directed at the sun above. You wince at the disturbing feel to it. But of course, I still have the characteristic love for darkness, fear, and power to control them... As his voice trails off into the still air, he swirls around, catching you off guard, and locks his dark grey eyes onto yours. Endless miles of pitchblack suddenly engulfs you. Total silence and piercing cold replaces warmth and sunlight. Knowing you didn't move an inch, you clutched to yourself waiting for it to end.
As sudden as it came, it ended. Stumbling under the return of sunshine, you hear the melcey's charming yet cold laugh in the distance. Fading. The test was over. You passed.
Looking down you find a card. It reads:
