The Journey Out youth
group is designed to be a social and educational support group. It's goal is
to provide teens/young adults with a safe environment in which to meet new
friends, learn about sexuality, interact with peers and participate in social
events. New topics are discussed weekly and the group is facilitated by

Youth strives to promote the physical, mental and emotional
well being of sexual minority youth through support, outreach, and
education. At our weekly meetings we
discuss issues related to coming out, relationships, and home and work
environments. We provide a safe space and monthly activities for you to
socialize, come out, get to know others, and have fun. FREE HIV & STD TESTING If you would like to be
anonymously tested for HIV or STD’s please email Alex Ortega at We can test you confidentially and anonymously at our
youth group Wednesday nights, at our weekly outreach at Crossroads Market aka
“the coffee shop” , or at the Resource Center http://www.resourcecenterdallas.org/ make sure you ask for 10%

Youth is dedicated to addressing your health concerns. Our
peer educators conduct outreaches to areas where you might go, providing you
with accurate information on HIV & STD’s, condoms, as well as,
on-the-spot access to HIV testing. |
