Colwyn has chosen his wife well, as he waits to begin to take his wedding vows.
Even as the wedding of Colwyn and Lyssa is underway, the Slayers, under the watchful eye of the Old One, ride forth to attack Castle Erig.
Colwyn and Lyssa stand before the sacred basin, happy to be undertaking this journey together into wedlock.
Despite their differences, Erig and Turold watch on with pride as their children take this step towards uniting their world against the invaders.
"I give fire to water. It will not return...except to the hand of the woman I choose as my wife."
Lyssa looks to Colwyn before accepting to retrieve the flame.
"I take fire from water. I give it to the man I choose as a husband..."
"Take the fire from my hand..."
The Beast does not want the wedding of Colwyn and Lyssa to be completed so the Slayers have been sent to attack the castle.
Before Colwyn can finalize the wedding by taking the fire from Lyssa's hand, a Slayer bursts through a window to commence the attack.
