The Black Fortress, home of the Beast approaches the world of Krull. The world as its inhabitants know it is about to change forever.
The Black Fortress lands on Krull. It won't remain in place for long. Every day at sunrise, the Fortress moves, never in the same place twice. [Poor mailman]
The Slayers are the inhuman warriors of the Beast's army. When the Fortress is secure, they charge forth to conquer Krull.
The castle of King Erig, father of Princess Lyssa. It is here that the wedding between Lyssa and Colwyn, son of Turold, will take place...if the young prince survives the journey here.
"Good fighters make bad husbands!" Erig chides his daughter. Although it is necessary to ensure an alliance against the Beast, Erig is not happy that his daughter will be marrying the son of his ancient enemy.
After much hardship, Turold, Colwyn and a handful of their soldiers arrive at Castle Erig. Many have died along the way. What army will Colwyn be able to muster against the Beast?
"Wouldn't you jump for me?" Lyssa wonders when Colwyn asks whether she expects a husband to jump at her every word. "Of course, not...you're a warrior!" she grins.
Evening arrives and the ceremony is about to take place. Erig leads Lyssa to the basin where the wedding vows will be taken.
As of this day, the kingdoms of Erig and Turold are no more. In their place a single kingdom will remain under their children.
Lyssa looks on with a smile at her future husband.
