The Story of Dragon Ball Z The Saiyan Saga
The story of Dragon Ball Z begins with the main character's (Gokou's) brother (Raditz) arriving to Earth. He landed on some fat farmer's farm. The farmer decided to investigate the landing on his farm. When he got there he thought he should bring out his little rifle. When Raditz seemed to be a threat to him he decided to use "lethal" force, but to his suprize, Raditz caught the bullet in the palm of his hand, so instead of wasting his energy on this level 5 being, he decided to flick it right through the farmer and kill him. Now he decides to look for his brother Gokou, who he knows as Kakarott. So he uses his scouter to search for a high life form who he thinks would be Kakarott anyway because Earth is a low level life form planet anyway, but to his surprize, there is a high life form that isn't Kakarott. This is everyone's favorite Piccolo (Piccolo is a pretty important character, you will notice why if you watch the show, or if you don't you'll see why in the Piccolo info page). Piccolo and him have a little quick duel. Piccolo hits him with one of his blasts which does nothing to Raditz. Now it's Raditz's turn. When he is about to get Piccolo with one of his attacks, he notices a bigger ki (power level). So he says screw this I've gotta catch my brother (not really but it's pretty much what he does). Gokou and his son Gohan arrive at the Kame house where Master Roshi, Bulma, and Krillin are at. Krillin and them notice Gokou, and also notice he has a "friend" with him. To their astonishment, he has a son! And not just any kind of a son, this son has inherited a tail! Whats wrong with him having a son that has a tail? Well, Gokou had a tail when he was younger and when a full moon was out and he saw the it, he'd sort of turn into a giant ape-like creature. So they ask him if Gohan has ever been outside on the night of a full moon. Gokou says he doesn't think so, because they go to sleep pretty early. So they watch Gohan play around then Gokou feels a powerful presence approaching. At first he thinks it's Piccolo. Then realizes it's too powerful to be Piccolo. His brother comes down, says he hasn't done what he was supposed to do and then finds out that Gokou had hit his head when he was a little boy, and that bump in the head turned him from a hellion to a nice playful normal boy, with a tail.

They have a little quarrel and then Gohan ends up being kidnapped by his uncle Raditz and taken to the site where Raditz's ship landed. Then Raditz finds an high reading from his scouter, and it directs him toward the ship where Gohan was stuck in. He figures that the thing is busted, so he ignores it. He gets another reading from what seems to be two life forms, but he figures that yet again, the scouter is acting up on him, but to his dismay, it was right! What else does this mean? The reading on Gohan was accurate also. Ahh! Oh well, in the end, he fights Gokou and Piccolo, and single handedly (literally), Piccolo put a hole through Gokou and Raditz. Piccolo tells Raditz that this is no problem (killing Gokou) because they can just wish him back with the Dragon Balls. Raditz, however, gets to have the last laugh. His scouter is also a transmitter, so this means that anyone listening has just heard of the Dragon Balls. The people listening just happen to be the Prince of all (living) Saiyans, Vegeta, his fellow Saiyan Nappa, and the so-called ultimate power in the Universe, Freeza (I think).

That ends the first three episodes, now I'll ease up on the details. Now, Gokou is dead, travels down Snake Way to King Kiaou's place to train. While he trains with King Kiaou, Piccolo trains Gokou's son, since Piccolo saw Gohan's raw power. This causes a year of training for everyone. When Nappa and Vegeta arrive, Nappa kills Piccolo, and is partially responsible for the death of Tien, and Chaiotzu. Yamcha dies because of one of the Saiba men, making him the first to die (I guess I should have mentioned that first). After a long journey back from King Kaiou's place, Goku finally makes it back just in time to save Gohan from being crushed. By this time, Vegeta figured out that they could just go to Planet Namek and get the Dragon Balls from that planet, so he says to kill everyone, because Goku's power level was suddenly jolted from a mere 416 to 5,000 in only one year. This was 1,000 higher than Nappa's power level, so that pissed both of them off. Gokou battled Nappa first, Nappa got nearly paralyzed, then killed by Vegeta. Afterwards, Vegeta and Gokou fight and Goku ends up getting help from Gohan, Krillin, and Yajirobe to overcome Vegeta. Instead of killing Vegeta, however, Krillin is told by Gokou to let him go. That is what ends up sparking the Frieza saga.

The Namek Saga
Now the new quest for everyone is to find the Dragon Balls and wish everyone that was killed in battle back, except for Chaiotzu because he had already been wished back once already, and you can't make the same wish twice. When Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma arrive on Namek, they are confronted by many people and end up coming out alive. In one particular scene, Gohan, with Krillin spying with him on Frieza during one of his invasions, got mad and attacked Dodoria, who was about to kill a Namekian child named Dende. Their encounter with Dende helped them to find one of the Dragon Balls. Also, the Dragon Ball they recieved just happened to be the one guarded by Guru, the eldest Namek. This is when Krillin's hidden power is awaken. He decides to go get Gohan and see if Guru could awaken Goahan's hidden power. By this time, Vegeta had stolen six of the seven Dragon Balls needed to make a wish. The one he is missing is the one that Gohan found. When Vegeta arrives at Guru's place, he feels Kakarott's power, but to his suprise, the strong power is coming from little Gohan. This only suprises him however, because he is much stronger than Gohan still. Vegeta decides that he must force the Dragon Balls away from them, so he threatens them and ends up finding out that the Ginyu Force is arriving on Namek. This makes him even more anxious to make his wish of immortality (which is what all the evil people want). Krillin decides to go get the other Dragon Ball just in case, but by this time, it is too late. When Vegeta is arguing to Krillin on giving him the Ball the Ginyu Force arrives on the scene. This makes Vegeta pissed and scared. Each member of the Ginyu Force, except for Guldo, is stronger than Vegeta. Captain Ginyu takes the Dragon Balls to Frieza, then tells his men to finish them off. Guldo is the first up. He battles Krillin and Gohan, but later gets his head cut off off by Vegeta, because Vegeta had a score to settle with him. Next up is Recoome. This is one hard@$$ that likes to act fruity, besides Captain Ginyu. He manages to severely injure Krillin and Vegeta, and breaks Gohan's neck. Goku arrives just in time to revive his son with a sensu bean, and he gives one to Krillin and Vegeta, for his help. This is about when the Namek Saga Ends

The Ginyu Saga
Goku is able to defeat the remaining Ginyu Force with ease, except Jeice who runs off to get Captain Ginyu. When the Captian arrives, him and Goku fight, but later Captian Ginyu finds out that Goku is the stronger man, so he decides to use his change technique, which transfers Goku to Ginyu and Ginyu to Goku. Now Ginyu believes that he is the strongest, next to Frieza, and goes off to find Krillin and Gohan, then eliminate them. Vegeta hides in the shadows as he awaits the time for Shenlong to be awaken. The thing is, they have to call upon the dragon in the Namekian language, so they have to find Dende and have him wish for them. Ginyu (in Gokou's body) arrives with Jeice, then finds out that he cannot use the body of Gokou to it's peak because he doesn't know all the techniques that Gokou does to power up (ex: Kaiou-ken). Then he is able to get used to the body and is suddenly able to overcome Gohan and Krillin. But who is there in the shadows? It's Vegeta. He comes out and kills Jeice, then goes after Ginyu. Now Vegeta is fighting against Ginyu and is able to defeat him, but that means that Ginyu will change again. So he does. But Gokou thinks fast and jumps in to get his body back. Ginyu tries again, but Gokou grabs a frog-like thing, and Ginyu becomes the frog-like thing. Now that Ginyu is "defeated," they go into the space ship and put Gokou into a rejuvination thing ending the Ginyu Saga.

The Freeza Saga
Now, Gokou has to get healed for the fight with Freeza. Vegeta falls asleep, then Gohan and Krilin meet up eith Dende and awaken Shenlong (the Namek Dragon). Now that he is awaken, they wish for Piccolo to be revived, then have him sent to Namek. Now that they have done this, Vegeta has awaken and just arrived at the scene of where the three are, and is he ever pissed, but not for long, because Freeza arrives also. On his way to where they all are, Piccolo comes across Nail, who was near death due to Freeza, who merged with him. Now Piccolo is stronger than he has ever been. Level 1 Freeza gets defeated, making him go into phase two, then Piccolo wins that one, then stage three, Vegeta gets killed talking about how Gokou is now a Super Saiyan. Then Freeza and Gokou fight and make five minutes seem like five hours, and in that time everyone killed by Freeza is brought back to life by the Eternal Dragon. Then Dende asks the Namekian Dragon to bring everyone on Namek, except Freeza and Gokou, to Earth. The fight going on with Freeza continues, and in the end, Freeza makes a big mistake and launches a Kienzan at Goku which ends up failing, so he throws out another to help it, and when he starts talking to Gokou, the two Kienzans end up cutting Freeza in half. After pleading with Gokou to help him, Gokou gives him some energy, then starts to leave. Freeza, however does not want the fight to be over, so he launces his final attack at Gokou, but Gokou gets mad from this and launches the final attack upon Freeza. Gokou now must find a way out of Namek. In the last scene of the planet, it blows up and Gokou seems to go with it.

Back at Capsule Corp., everyone is being wished back to life, First Krillin, then Yamcha. A Namekian year later, they try to bring back Gokou, but the Dragon says he is still alive and will come back later. So, they wish back the other two, Tien and Chiaotzu, and the Nameks then leave to a suitable planet. This pretty much ends the Freeza Saga.
