Born in Buckinghamshire 1944 and trained at the Royal Collage of music in London and subsequently at the central school for speech and drama. He has vast experience in all aspects of show business having worked in most countries around the world.
Ali Omar
Born in Lebanon 1964 and brought up in war-torn Beirut before escaping to Russia. After Russia he began his new life in Switzerland, working for a prestigious medical company in Geneva. Because of his involvement in the issues of child abuse Ali has written many articles for the last five years.

This is a true and harrowing story of survival in the face of mindless, almost casual brutality, betrayal, cultural and religious hypocrisy. This story is told by two people from different cultures-one from the East and one from the West. Looking beyond the pain of their lives; these two people transcend cultural nuances that mask the common denominators of humanity. Denny is English, Christian, an ex-entertainer and singer. He was blinded by a mugger in London in 1991. Ali is originally from Lebanon, Muslim, and a successful industrial chemist with a pharmaceutical company in Geneva. They have discovered, since they met, some of the most remarkable parallels in their lives, including many dark secrets. Coming to terms with their pasts has provided the opportunity to explore apparent differences. In addition, these so-called unbridgeable chasms turn out to be little more than surface noise disguising deep common themes, and this is one of the major revelations of this book.

Brilliant book
I have just finished reading this book on a flight back from America to Sweden and I must say it has affected me greatly and has changed my views on life dramatically. Congratulations to the two authors Denny Ryder and Ali Omar for their honesty and courage to put their words into print with Opening Pandora's Box. They have certainly opened it. I heartily recommend it. It is a must have book for your collection, because if I am humbled by reading this book you too will be. It reduced a grown man to tears, I must confess.
