Rya is a professional dancer in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Rya began dancing in 2002 and hasn't stopped since. With a background in theatre, she takes an artistic and innovative approach to every performance. She also has a background in music and feels that musicality is the most important aspect of dancing. She is Louisville's only Tribal Fusion bellydancer. In addition to tribal fusion, she also performs Egyptian and Gothic. |

Ahel El Nagam - Ahel El Nagam means, "people of the tune." We are a brand new Middle Eastern music band in Louisville, KY. We were founded in April of 2007 and we are working hard to develop a repertoire of full of traditional and classical Middle Eastern songs. We are available for cultural events, private parties, and shows at restaurants and coffee houses around Louisville. And what's better is that we provide belly dancers for every show we do!

Rya is also a member of Asrar Al Badra (pronounced As-RAH-ru Ahl BAD-ur) which translates to "The Moon's Secrets". Founded on September 24th, 2007, our mission is to share the beauty of Middle Eastern Dance and Experimental dances based on Middle Eastern dance movement (or belly dance fusion) with our audiences in an entertaining and respectful manner.
