| SALT MARSH ANIMALS |
| - Salt marsh animals live in either the high marsh, or the low marsh. Animals that live in the highmarsh are animals that can't swim such as crabs and periwinkles. Some animals that live in the low marsh are animals such as crabs, jellyfish, mantis shrimp, nussels, and small fish. |
| - Many different kinds of shrimp make the marsh their home due to its grasses that give the shrimp eggs a safe place to hatch and their larvae a safe place to live until they're old enough to protect themselves. |
