My gaming life began not to long ago actually. One day my family went over to my cousin's house and ended up playing on a Nintendo 64, we played Mario Kart and GoldenEye. Well, we liked it and thought, "Hmm, we'll have to check into this". Well, right then we knew that we wanted a Nintendo System, but the N64 were much to expensive for us at the time. So, we ended up buying a Super Nintendo with two games, Super Mario World and Top Gear Racing. Well, our collection grew until we had bought several more games, including a lot of Mario. But then, the great day came. My Mom and Dad knew how much we wanted a N64, so one fine Thanksgiving morning, they called us three boys into the living room, handed us a package, and waited for us to open it. It contained GoldenEye, which they knew we had wanted for quite some time. But what good was a game without something to play it on we wondered? But then, they went into the bedroom, returned with a brown paper bag, and handed it to us. We opened it and found a Nintendo 64 system and Diddy Kong Racing. We currently still have GoldenEye and my little brother bought Diddy Kong from us since he was the only one who liked it. My older brother now owns all of the Nintendo systems including the re-makes of the NES and SNES, all of the Gameboys (except SP) and I own a NES, GC, and GBA. My collection has 31 games, and my brother's has many more. We have been strictly Nintendo ever since we got our first system in 2000, and I plan to remain that way possibly for my entire gaming career. Beau T. West Age 15 |
