Well, I'm now on a "week" countdown! My service, including training, is a total of 27 months! I have only 20 WEEKS left here in Jordan. It is kind of surreal to say that out loud. Part of me feels like I have not come close to accomplishing what I wanted to do, but at the same time, I also do feel like I have made a difference. Even if it just in how my new friends in the community view Americans or how my center students view themselves, that is enough for me! |
