The Internet is Good!
February 28, 2007 - Creating the Temporary Pages - I have called for Road Runner... Hoping to get my internet up and running... FINALLY! I have been working offline for quite the time, and now I can finally get back to regular updating... oh, that is if the little guy will allow me! I don't even have it installed yet, and I am just typing away! I would love to have my new site up and running, but I still plan to purchase 1and1 and then upload it all... it would be a pain in the butt to just revamp geocities again!!! I don't want to do it anyways... it's bad enough always resizing all of these windows in geocities... and I have added so much more to the new site... but I am trying to add pics from the new site and a few other things til then. It will be nice to just add whatever I want at any time and not worry about limits.... ok so blah blah blah on my part here!
 •  I made this temporary page so I didn't have to go back and redo EVERYTHING and I want to be able to put more time into the new site... So I updated Mandy and my own site just here and there... more on mine, because Mandy's has been the same for quite a while!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
12.10.05 - Bone Chilling, Cold Seasonal Days! - I am sitting and updating... Skylar is playing... all is good! This is December, it is Iowa, so it is COLD! This semester is almost over, and then we can enjoy our time off for the holidays. It will be nice to not have to worry about hustle and bustle! I like that we were able to get everyone's presents, but I am still all about wanting family time. I am not trying to get all non-Commercial, but I think that I am glad we all know what Christmas is about.... we haven't forgotten it around here this Christmas! We had a great time down South last year, but this year isn't gonna lose any of the cheer... We will be able to take care of Evan by not running around everywhere, and we will celebrate our last Iowa Christmas. We still have all of our loved ones with us in our hearts this year that will not be HERE with us... But we know that the Horners, Tarvers, Rackleys, and the littlest Dills is doin just fine!

So, where was I ?
11.11.05 - School and more school - I am updating at a rather late hour. I have just worked on trying to get the wedding photos setup, and Mandy is beside my sleeping. Tomorrow (rather today) is Friday and I couldn't be happier... A weekend to chill... well, ok, not chill. We have plans to visit, and then we have a school event on Saturday. Sunday will consist of housework; hmmm...
 •  School is going well. Well, it is going... it's just a stressful event. There are many atimes that I have thought of only going with one program, and drop the other... due to stress. I know there are a few 'duallies' out there that are doing the same, but it just comes down to a lot going on around me. I think about that a lot, but I think I will still roll with the punches!
 •  There will be much travelling to Sioux Falls until Evan is born. Mandy goes once a month (every 4 wks), and now it will come to every other week. Once she gets to 32 weeks, she will have to go in twice a week! Wow and wow! She will take part in stress tests, and they also want to continue close diabetes monitoring. But all in all, we just can't wait for Evan to get here! We have everything ready for him, and we are constantly being reminded of him! It is only a matter of time.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
10.23.05 - On a Crisp, Cold October Night - It's been quite busy here in the Horner house, er, apartment. Midterms is approaching us, we have been taking care of financial situatiions, and oh yeah, Midterms are coming. It's just a bit hectic around here, and I don't think it will be slowin down anytime soon... So I was right in thinking I should have enjoyed the summer... Hahaha!
 •  Yesterday I take Skylar over to a friend's house, and it starts flurrying. It was already raining... and it was a cold rain! And to top it off, it just started to flurry... big flakes! I can tell I have been in NC for a while, cuz I am still not all that excited about having snow - but I plan on tryin to make the best of it.
 •  Life in Iowa is still about the same as usual, and we are still in the countdown for Raleigh. Time is goin pretty good too, because it is already Midterms in October. We have a few things in order, but are still up in the air with the moving situation. But we will press on, and we will be fine... we always learn to adapt and figure something out!
 •  On a website note, this is as far as I have gotten with updating things - I still plan to get into Evan and Wedding events. I am just now involved in my personal webpage, because it was usually school related... Any ideas, or any other ideas, let me know what's on ya mind! But I'm sure I will keep hittin up LJ for updates....

Where I Left Off...
08.26.05 - Bringing things up to speed - Have been in a HUGE transition stage of late! Mandy and I are married, we have moved to a new place, our Sheldon apartment, and we are expecting an addition to our family next February. So if not being really really busy, I haven't had internet for like weeks. We had our wedding, but the banner and other things still stayed on the site. So it may take me a while to get things back in order, but for now I just wanted to add a few things...
 •  My Programming instructor may let me go on his server and let me have a GOOD server to set my site on. I don't know if I may get into it or not... It may only be up for a few months, or up to a year from now, and then I would have to go back to what I have now... It would be a nice tease! (haha) So if I do go with that plan, it will be the same layout and everything, just ad free and NOT GEOCITIES!

Revenge of the Sith
06.04.05 - STAR WARS Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Oh my oh my! Last week Mandy and I took a little trip to Sioux Center and caught Episode III... WOW Awesome flick! Anyone interested in following the Star Wars series really needs to catch that one! I won't spoil it... But it is just the perfect puzzle piece!
 •  Not to ruin plot, but knowing going into Ep3 that a lot of the characters wouldn't make it into Ep4 [A New Hope] didn't compare to the actual events on screen... Intense! It was very high octane, but also surprising is the depressing setting of events also. What else can be said seeing that Ani was to be Lord Vadar... That and the title clearly states - Revenge of the Sith!

Reach Out and Touch Someone...
05.20.05 - STARS Weekend Recap - It was such a good time had by all; or at least by me and my crew there. We had a nice drive there, got settled in, and then went out to Ichibon's Japanese Steak House in Minneapolis. Good time and good food! Came home and followed up with a nice swim and spa visit! << This was all on Friday.
 •  Saturday was a morning trip to Mall of America. Started the morning with an Underwater Aquatic Adventure... good stuff. That was followed by mall sightseeing, but in our case, AMUSEMENT PARK! Yep, MoA has a center section called Camp Snoopy, which just totally rocks! We hit up a few coaster and water rides, had some lunch, then again, followed by a quick visit to the pool and hot tub before heading out to the Theatre.
 •  Saturday night we went to The Chanhassen Theatre and saw 'Disney's Beauty and the Beast.' I wasn't sure what to make of it, but it was a great time... good atmosphere - I think the group I was with just totally made my mini-vacation that much more awesome... almost forgot it was a school trip. So the theatre was a good time... had some dinner entres, and an intermission desert. Both Friday and Saturday nights ended with DVD on the laptop... then everyone passing out of exhaustion!
 •  Sunday was a Trolley Tour of Minneapolis. It went well, but a lot of the peeps were ready to call it a weekend. Stopped off at the Melting Pot for some interesting fondu dinner, and then headed to the homefront... all and all, a great time!

05.09.05 - STARS Event Weekend - This weekend will be an exciting get away. Our STARS program is having it's end of the year trip to Minneapolis. There is only a handful that go, and it will go from Friday to Sunday night. The only thing we really need to pay for is one lunch meal on Saturday, and have money to blow when we hit up Mall of America! Excellent!
 •  First year students, or anyone who was not able to go last year have first dibs. There were ten or so of us, and Mandy was able to put her name down on a waiting list in case someone drops or cant go. That seemed to work out to our favor, and Mandy is now able to go too... I mean they didnt go cheap on this trip..... Japanese Steak House, Hotel stay in the MOA, Dinner and Theatre, Underwater Aquarium, Minneapolis Trolley Tours, Fondu..... boy you name it... I'll have to keep updated on the scheduled events! What a good way to end stressful finals... an all paid weekend.

05.06.05 - Hello, hello! Finally am getting around to my webpage here. Havent really made it public, but I am having a good time playing around. The perfectionist in me just wants to get all of my pages up and going with something on it, but I may just overwrite my index page with this new homepage. Ok so that was a little geekspeak there. I must be doin something right in class... hahaha....
 •  So speaking of class, I am so ready for my semester to be over. It is going well, I am just feeling a bit overwelmed and a bit burntout. I just would like to get my GenEds out of the way and be able to focus on my core Computer classes. I will have 8 classes next semester. It will be interesting.... sometimes though I think I am crazy to do it.
 •  The wedding plannning is doing very well. Ok, so we are slow to get the invitations out and about....(which were just sent out a few days ago) I think it was being caught up with Finals and such in class, and well ya know, life can get hectic. But I am excited about our date. Everyone is takin care of that is flying in. (Unless of course, some ppl still may come that are from afar) The weather is getting nice, and I am hoping that our big day will be nice to celebrate outside.... That would be sweet!
