MRS. RUFUS YEARWOOD ANSWERS DEATH'S CALL

Mrs. Eloise Copelan Yearwood sank peacefully into sleep, and her sweet gentle
spirit wafted its way to the abode of eternal rest, early Monday morning, at
her home in Ficklin after an illness of three weeks from typhoid fever.
Mrs. Yearwood was seventeen years of age.  She was the only daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Rowe Copelan and until her marriage last spring was a resident of
Greensboro, where by sweet and lovable disposition she won the love and esteem
of all who knew her.
The funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning from the Baptist church
by Rev E. G. Smith and concluded at the grave by Rev. H. W. Joiner.
The sympathy of a host of friends extended to the young husband and heart-
broken father and mother.

Additional Comments:
Ficklin, GA is located south of Washington, GA on highway 47 in Wilkes County near the Taliaferro County line.  Eloise was buried in her parents' plot in Greensboro City Cemetery, Greensboro, GA.  Rufus Yearwood later married Eloise's cousin, Nannie Burke Copelan, and Rufus and Nannie are buried together in the Greensboro City Cemetery.
