At one o'clock we were invited into the dining room where you never saw a table loaded with so many good things to eat. After diner we enjoyed the music of the Victrola. "Grandma Copelan," as she is known in Brownwood, is spry and full of energy for a woman of her age. We all had a delightful time and regretted very much when the time came to go. But as we left we wished her many more happy birthdays." 6 June 1941 The Madisonian, Old Age Assistance in Morgan County.
