Written 19 Oct. 1773, Chesterfield Co., VA, proved 7 Feb. 1777, Order Bk 6, page 123.

Baugh]   In the name of God Amen I Peter Baugh of the County of Chesterfield &
Will ]   Parish of Dale being in my perfect senses mind & memory Praised be God do give bequeath & dispose of all my Worldly Goods in manner and form following  Viz.
Imprimis I give & bequeath unto my Son Peter Baugh one Shilling Sterling to him his Heirs & Assigns forever.
Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Stratton one Shilling Sterling & to her Heirs & Assigns forever.
Item I give & bequeath until my Daughter Elizabeth Hill one Shilling Sterling & to her Heirs & Assigns forever.
Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Frances DeSears one Shilling Sterling & to her Heirs & Assigns forever.
Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Smith one Shilling Sterling & to her Heirs & Assignes forever.
Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Anna Fokes one negro woman called Bess and her increase & to her Heirs & Assigns forever.
Item I give & bequeath unto my Son Richard Baugh one Shilling Sterling and to his Heirs & Assignes forever.
Item ___unto my loving wife Elizabeth Baugh during her natural life or Widowhood the use of the Plantation I now live on together with all my other Estate consisting as follows to wit: nine Negroes named Harry, Fredo, Hampshire, Tom, Lidd, Jack, James Phillis and Biley and also all my Household and Kitchen Furniture Stock of cattle, Sheep, Horses, Hogs, and etc.  I say all the aforementioned articles I lend unto use of my aforesaid Wife during the times she remains my widow or lives no longer.
Item I give bequeath unto my Son Burwell Baugh after my aforementioned wife deceased or second marriage the aforesaid Plantation I now live on being the same I lint to my Wife containing by estimation three hundred acres be the same more or less together with the fishing place and all privileges advantages profits and emoluments there unto belong to ___ the only proper use of him my son Burwell Baugh & Heirs & Assigns.
Item I give bequeath unto my Son Burwell Baugh my whole sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament making null and void all other Wills by me made Desiring my estate may not be appraised and no Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and office my seal this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and seventy three.  Peter Baugh
