Frances C. Parker, 52, of Mansfield, died April 16. Funeral services were April 18 at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan.
The Rev. Richard Roberts officiated. Interment was in Carmel Cemetery in Mansfield.
Born in Greene County, Mrs. Parker had been employed for 15 years as a cook at Covington Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Mansfield United Methodist Church. Mrs. Parker was the former Frances Ellene Copeland, daughter of the late Carey Edward and Annie Frances Ballard Copeland.
Pallbearers were Phil Parrish, Phil Penn, Wayne Blackwell, Jody Lee, Dan Goldman and Hugh Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Parker of Mansfield; daughter, Tonya Parker of Mansfield; son, Lanier Shropshire of Mansfield; stepdaughter, Annette Cason of Covington; two grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
