| Hulk Hogan prior to being a professional wrestler attended school at the University of South Florida. Terry started body building in 1967 and worked as a part-time body builder,bouncer,,very part time musician and a full time musician. During one of his working days as a body builder he met up with pro wrestler Jack Brisco. Jack Brisco gave Terry the number for Hiro Matsuda if he became interested in wrestling. Terry became interested and Hiro taught Terry everything he needed to know to become a very legendary wrestler.In 1978, Terry wrestled his first match under the alisas of the Super Destroyer in the Florida Wrestling league. When the media and other promoters of professional wrestling discovered Terry he then wrestled under the alisas of Terry Boulder. Terry was then managed by Jimmy Hart "The Mouth of the South" and wrestled in Alabama and Memphis.This is where Terry met Andre the Giant and became a strong friendship between the two outside the ring and enemies inside the ring. In 1979 Terry started working for the NWA under the alasis of Sterling Golden and captured the NWA Heavyweight Title after beating Bob Roop in December of 1979. |

| IIn 1980 the late Vince McMahon Sr agreed Terry to a contract to both of there liking. Terry recieved the name of "Hulk Hogan" and was managed by the legendary "Classy" Freddy Blassie. During the opening of his WWF career Hogan wrestled in many handicap matches to show the world of his "giant" strength capabilites. Which resulted in a feud with Andre the Giant. Hogan's contract then expired and he started wrestling for the American Wrestling Association (AWA). Hogan worked as a heel in this buisness and immediatley started a large feud with the biggest heel in the AWA the Heenan family. Hogan then went to the IWPG 10 man tournament held in Japan. Hogan at the tournament beat Killer Khan, Big John Studd, Rusher Kimura, Canek, Enrique Vera, Otto Wanz and Akira Maeda. Hogan also wrestled Andre the Giant and Antonio Inoki but the match resulted in a draw. Hogan and Inoki ended up having the same amount of points so resulted in a final match. Hogan won the match and Won the IWPG Heavyweight Title on June 2,1983. Hogan then finally lost the title a year later on June 14,1984. Hogan made his re-debut back in the WWF in January 7,1984 where he helped Bob Backlund from the Samoans win his match. On January 23, Hogan clashed with the Iron Sheik, after the Sheik slapped on the "Camel Clutch" which was the Sheik's submission hold lost the title to Hogan. After Hogan hit the Sheik with the trademark "Big Leg Drop". |

| Hulk Hogan began feuding with Roddy Piper and Hogan's first big match was when he teamed up with Mr.T and wrested with Mr.T in Wrestlemania I. Hogan and Mr.T then wrestled the team of Paul Orondoff and Roddy Piper. Piper wanted to take Hulk Hogan down and take his title away. Piper couldnt get the job done and sent his helpers after Hogan with which where Don Muraco and Cowboy Bob Orton which could not get the job done. Randy Savage also took the challenge and the money to take down the Hulkster. But Savage also failed and then Piper sent the oversized King Kong Bundy after Hogan in Wrestlemania II. Hogan's ribs where damaged prior to Wrestlemania II and collided with Bundy in a steel cage. Hogan overcame the odds bodyslammed Bundy and with the "Big Leg Drop" pinned Bundy to win the match and his maintain his belt. In one of Hogan's pit segments Andre the Giant showed up and with Bobby Heenan and demanded a match with Hogan. Hogan refused because they were friends and Andre said he would end Hulkamania. Which lead to a legendary match up at Wrestlemania III. In March 29,1987 where more then 90,000 fans showed up to see the match. Where history was made when he hoisted the 589 pounder up and body slammed him. Becoming the first person ever to body slam Andre the Giant. |
