1.  Represent our school  and our program with class, professionalism, and sportsmanship.
2.  Positively promote our school and program to the school staff, student body, and
     community with  every opportunity.
3.  Be early for everything.
4  Help the players be successful on and off the field.
PARENTS
1. Positivly support your son in his academic and athletic endeavors.
2.  Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
3.  Help your son to win with class and lose with dignity.
4.  Maintain realistic expectations for your son.
PLAYERS
1. Represent our school and program with class and sportsmanship.
2.  Be on time to all classes and team functions.
3.  Be responsible for yourself and your teammates.
4.  Be respectful of everyone you meet at home and away.
5.  Follow the school and team athletic code to the letter.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
LETTER POLICY
Players that significantly contribute at the varsity level and are committed to building a tradition for Royal Valley High School Baseball in the manner outliined by the head coach will earn a letter.  The following point system ultimately determines whether a player letters.  To earn a letter, a player must earn 100 or more points by meeting all or select criteria.
50% or more of the varsity innings played                                            50pts
No unexcused absences from any baseball related activity/event             10pts
Participation in a fall/winter Sport (or 85% of winter workouts)             10pts each
Enrollment in a weight training specific class                                        20pts
Summer program participation (summer prior to season)                       20pts
Fundraising (raise $100 or more for the program in various fundraisers) 10pts
Coach's discretion                                                                             +/- 10pts
* In addition, players must finish the season in good standing.  The head coach reserves the right to award letters to any player he feels has made a significant contribution to the varsity team.
