With your help, Haley will be able to love on the orphans of Penza, Russia, this summer. She has traveled to Penza three times, and feels led to return. She will be working with 1000 orphans in the Penza region which is 400 miles southeast of Moscow.
The orphan population in Russia is on the rise due to poor economic conditions and lack of knowledge about the family system. After communism fell, Russian society was cast into western culture without knowledge and they were fed by the government and given everything, and they were not prepared to live and survive by themselves.
