A Church for the Entire Family
Seniors
At Russell Cave we have an active group of �Seniors� who see age as just a number. They have regular meetings, as well as group trips across Lexington. They have a vibrant Sunday School class, and are always looking for new members.
Nursery Care
A dedicated staff of volunteers make our nursery (infants - preschool) a safe, fun, and interactive place for your children. Nursery
care is provided during our Sunday School hour, as well as during the morning worship service.
Missions
It is our responsibility as Christians to reach out to the community around us. Whether it is volunteering at the local shelter, collecting food and clothing, or getting involved in �Circle of Friends� (a women�s prayer and missions ministry) or �A Guy Thing� (a men�s missions ministry) we make it our mission to be active in reaching out to help those who truly need it.
Youth
Lead by our Youth Minister, Taylor Judd, the programs for grades 5-8 and 9-12 are designed to meet our young people where they are, offering a message of love, forgiveness, and a biblical guide to the challenges our youth are facing. There are weekly meetings for the Middle School, as well as High School age children. There are also plenty of activities, mission trips, and retreats planned throughout the year.
Music Ministry
Lead by our Music Minister Amy Brown Thomas, Russell Cave provides an exciting, meaningful experience in every service.Whether it is in the dramatic presentations, the adult chorale or the kid�s choir, we believe that music is a vital part of who we are!
Adults
Just as with the youth, adults attend Russell Cave at different stages in life, therefore, we have Sunday school classes designed to guide you through whatever stage of life you�re in. Whether you are twenty-something, a young family, or retired, there is a Sunday School class just for you! We also offer a mid-week bible study where over a cup of coffee one can enjoy a study of God�s word in a casual atmosphere.
Children
We offer Sunday School classes for all children grades 1-3 and 4-5. Sunday is a time to study God�s word in creative and exciting ways. Whether it is through interactive bible stories, crafts, or songs, your child will enjoy learning about God�s word. We also offer a Kid�s Church program that runs during the morning service as a �kids version� to what is happening in the morning service.
