HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween sucked for me. I couldn't dress up at work, which was inventory day, so there were a bunch of auditors there messing around the store and it all made me claustrophobic. In other news, my mom, my sister, and my cousin came down yesterday to spend the week with us. We went to the Tampa Bay Lightning game last night. Tonight, we didn't do anything. But JoAnnie came by to visit and we had a dance party in my bedroom using my new cd jukebox. I also got good news though - Sallie Mae lowered my monthly payments to 48 bucks a month. I get paid tomorrow. I also got a bunch of emails from guys leaving messages on my GuyProfiles message board that really flattered me. Thanks guys!

Ok. Havent updated lately because for one, blogger has been acting up, and two, because Ive recently become embroiled in a drama that was not of my own making, but I ended up getting dragged into it by a person who feels its his God-given duty in this world to create tension between people by telling stories and leaving out pertinent facts. I won't name this person, but they know who they are :) Thankfully, that drama is over, and even though I have a bad case of sinusitis, I am feeling really good. My mom is coming down to visit next week as well.

TODAY'S HOROSCOPE

Venus and Jupiter square today so I feel that love issues could become quite intense at this time. You may need to prepare for intense power struggles and drama plays. Emotionally you'll need to come to terms with some of those nebulous dreams of yours and empower them with a little bit of fire and ideology. It may be that a new perspective or even a whole new philosophy is required right now. Mercury opposes Ceres as well so you may have to sacrifice a battle to win the war, especially when it comes to love; compromise is a very important tool.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TODAY:

Hmmm... love issues surface? Hmmm... what could this mean? Maybe my friend Sean is in love with me. Or maybe, Im really in love with Paola at work, since she was the only one around me all day - unless you count Lisa, my boss. Maybe so.... hmmm...

WORD OF THE DAY: GODZILLA (inside joke, don't ask)

PERSON OF THE DAY: DORA (the Explorer - "We can do it!!!")

SONG OF THE DAY: SERVE THE EGO (by Jewel - the new dance remix is great!!!)

STRANGEST STATEMENT OF THE DAY: "I used to go to McDonalds as a kid just to get the little packets of ketchup with my Happy Meal, they tasted so good. I love ketchup." (Paola)

Ok now I see what the blogger problem was - I need to be signed into Geocities for it to update my journal. So its working now. Anyways, Im exhausted and sleepy and I should be in bed right now but Im not. If i start to ramble and talk about nonsence, overlook it please. Anywho, Brad has started back to college this week, so he didn't work today which will be his day off. So he wasn't my supervisor today - Paula was, oh excuse me, its Paola (Pay-ola). Ive been mispelling it on here. Paula is cool - she looks, sounds, and acts just like my friend Erika from back home. Which reminds me, Erika - you and Abbi really need to start making plans to visit me in February.

In other news, Im off from work tomorrow - Yippy!!! Actually, I was getting used to working so many days in a row so I will probably still get up to go to work early in the morning. But come to think of it Ill probably still be up at that time because my friend Sean won't let me get sleep - he keeps talking to me on Yahoo and won't leave me alone. Ive already downloaded Jewel's "Serve The Ego" dance mix, two remixes of Cher's "Song for the Lonely", Avril Levigne's "Sk8er Boi", Eve's "Gangsta Lovin", Madonna's "Die Another Day", and three other songs in the time Ive been chatting with him tonight - and Im on dialup, so that should tell you something. Plus, Ive also done 30 sets of ab crunches as well, now that my exercising is starting to pay off. Im thinking Im going to have to just sign off and ignore Sean or write embarrassing things about him in my journal on here in order for him to stop keeping me up late at night :)

I get paid tomorrow so thats good news - at least now I won't have to prostitute myself for spare change this week. Not like I've ever done that or anything... but hey, if a rich guy wants to pay me money to be his boyfriend, I'm all for it, so if you are reading this and make over 100k a year and are willing to share a few bucks, email me :) Now I know I really need to get some sleep since Im turning my journal into a personals ad column for a sugar daddy.

Im still trying to decide what to dress up as for Halloween. My mom thinks Im dressing up like a woman, but I won't be doing that this year, though I had considered being a nun as one of my costumes. Since I cut my hair the other day and now have a military style buzz cut I was considering buying a green Army shirt, get cammie pants, some dog tags, and pretend to be all I can be for Halloween :) I love guys in uniform anyway. Especially Air Force guys. Wait a minute, if you are reading this and don't "know about me" just disregard that last comment. Take "guys" out and substitute the word "people". hehehe. Oh man I need to go to sleep, now Im hallucinating and its not like anyone is going to read this journal any time soon anyway so why do I continue to write in it? Because SoMeONe WoN'T LeT Me OfF YaHOo To SLEeP THaTs WhY!!!!!

Ok while Im still online and writing in this journal, I might as well share some interesting facts that I learned today. Did you know that in Europe, the video cassette standard is not VHS! Im not sure what it is, but Ill do some research - maybe its Beta. Do you remember Beta? It was sooo 1980s. Anyways, this interesting fact comes to me courtesy of Brad, who was making a statement about one of hte videos we sell at Mindworks. Ok, another cool fact about Europe - apparently, in Great Britain, even though they are on the metric system and have been for decades and the average British citizen doesn't really remember how large a mile is, apparently, somehow, the old standard metric system is still studied by most British citizens - because on the Amazing Race tongiht, while racing through Scotland, the British cabby asked for directions at a small market in Aberdeen, and the young man there (who was also British) told him that he was about 4 miles off the road, and both the young man and cabby knew exactly how large a mile was. I thought only people in the US knew what a mile was? Every time I chat with a British person they totally don't know how to compare a mile and a kilometer because the rest of the world uses metric except us. OK.... Sean, too bad child, Im going to bed, Im rambling and Im tired and Im .......... Im.......... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Today's News

Today was pretty boring. Except for the fact that my toilet decided to explode today. The cap flew off the valve thing in the back and was making a clanging noise, and when I open the tank lid, a jet of water smacked me in the face and hit the ceiling. I turned off the water flow but it was too late - my bathroom was floating in water. That was how my day began. I had to change my wet clothes to go to work. And I had to close tonight. It wasn't too bad but I was so tired from fighting with the toilet and then standing on my feet for several hours that I was exhausted when I got home tonight. One of my friends had stopped by to see me while I was at work and had to leave a note on the door because I wasn't home.

My ex-roommate James said I need to update this more often and hes right! But I've been so busy lately I can't even think!

Anyways, I love my job. MindWorks is such a cool place to work at. I made $950 in sales today - more than anybody else there. Of course Brad was stocking and recieving shipments most of the day, and Bruce was sick and is parttime so he wasn't there most of the day. I have to sell 10 items on my list before October 15th, and if I sell them all then I get a bonus! Some of them are hard to sell though, like the Little Red Tricycle, by Radio Flyer. Who buys that stuff now? And the Groovy Girls Puffy Vest accessories - I mean, the dolls cost too much themselves - why would you want to buy the clothes for as much as the doll? But some items are cheap - its just that no one wants them - like the yellow Lego Duplo box set for little kids and the Jack Stone Ultralight Flyer Lego kit, which is like $4. And the Baby Van Gogh VHS video for little babies - only grandmothers buy those for their kids nowadays. The Dizzy Doodler pen is selling, now that I put the demo out for people to see in the store. All this is of course a hint for anyone who is visiting my web page and likes me, and wants me to win, and is in the Tampa area to go to Tampa International Airport and buy a little something from my store ;-) hehehehe

In other news I hope that my friends Abbi and Erika get to come down and visit me in February. My mom called tonight and said she would be down here at the end of the month to visit, around Halloween. Maybe I should dress up in drag for the occasion and she wouldn't even mind since its Halloween.

I went to Walmart after work tonight to just get essentials - toothpaste and toilet paper. I ended up buying a new toothbrush since mine is worn - but I bought one of the new whirling Oral B electric toothbrushes. Then of course I bought condoms and lubricant (hey you never know when you might need it!) and somehow that led to me buying a new computer game, Mall Tycoon. Feeling guilty I felt like I needed to buy something else that I felt that I needed, so I bought some of those new dietary supplements that help your metabolism and build lean muscle mass, now that I'm exercising more often when I'm not working. I want my old six pack of abs back now, so I'm working out more. Too bad the chromium picolate supplements also include caffeine! Now its 2 am and I have to work tomorrow but Im sitting here playing on the internet and downloading porn and chatting on AOL Instant Messenger instead of sleeping!!!!

After coming back from lunch with my friend Mike at Ruby Tuesday today, I find out from Brad that since JoAnnie is leaving MindWorks, I may now be promoted to fulltime associate and I may become a lead, which means basically I'll be making more money, getting more hours, and will be considered part of management (supervisor position).

I cannot believe how busy I've been the past few days. Well, not really busy, but just occupied. After having a great night Saturday night at the Chambers with my roommates Brad and James, and coworkers JoAnnie and Paula, I had to work all day long on Sunday with no sleep. I worked with Paula, and we both were dead on our feet.

Today at work, it was rather slow, so I ended up buying one of the new Color Me Beanie Babies, and JoAnnie and I spent a half hour coloring the thing because we had so little to do. Tomorrow I work the long hours of the week - from 11 to 7. But Friday is pay day so I'm looking forward to it.

I also printed out my Big Brother 4 application today. I am thinking seriously about applying again. I just need to get a camcorder to film the application tape. I'm trying to think of somewhere I can get one, without renting. I'm sure I have a year to do it, since they probably won't start filming again until Summer 2004.

GOD I HATE DIAL UP!!! Since we moved into our new apartment, I've been having to access my email and such on dialup instead of DSL. Hopefully since we got the DSL modem in the mail yesterday I can get it hooked up tonight and be back on DSL.

In other news, I am now working at MindWorks at the airport. I was off work today. Im also getting over the flu, which has been making me feel like crap for the past week.

My dad, sister, and cousin are leaving Bluefield on Thursday and should be here on Friday evening to help us move to our new apartment. My dad is also bringing down my new car, its a Plymouth Neon, 2001 model. I can't wait to test drive the thing, but its going to be a lot different driving it than my old, un-air conditioned, power-brake-less '87 S-10. I hated that piece of crap, especially since it never ran when it rained, and it loved to stall out in the middle of nowhere. I haven't driven that piece of crap in about five years, if you don't count the two or three times I tried running it this year and it stopped running. Its a shame that it takes me moving to Florida before my parents agree to co-sign for a new car for me. I've been using mass transit and carpooling with friends so much that I probably forgot how to drive! hehehe, nah, Im sure it will come back to me really quick.

In other news, Ive been applying to all kinds of jobs. Home Depot. Walgreens. Challenges Arcade at Tampa International. And I might end up getting that MindWorks job after all - only it will be part time. But any job is a good job when you are starting out in a new city with a new life :)
