| A little Family History |
| We moved to Hastings, Heretaunga St, about 1957 - 58 and lived with our grandmother, Roka Ruru (Hapi). We moved to Redclyffe, NZ Electricity Substation, Taradale and lived there for over 20 years. As we started our own families, mum and dad baught a house in Rochester St Napier. Where mum resided till she passed away 9 November 2003 Our dad, Panapa (PaT) Ruru, is Ngati Kahungunu and our mum, Pirihira (Priscilla) Patea, is Tainui. |
