MEMORIAL WEEKEND 1999
On a large turn out ( 55 to 60 people ), this past holiday weekend
was a blast. Even surpassing last years bash. The people, weather
and food were GREAT ! Thanks to all that chipped in and helped
feed this hungry mob. And thank you Steve and Linda for letting
us fill up your property with a sea of motorhomes and buzzing bikes.
Here are a few video captures for your enjoyment.

Food line, come and get it !

3 BBQ's going full till. Nothing like food to make everybody happy.
Hey Richie, you know when you think that
exhaust pipe is cold when it's not...
OUCH !!!
Richie telling us to be quite so Scooter ( in outdoor shower
)
can hear the pack of firecrackers being dropped into
his shower stall by Brian.
Remember to aim over their heads !
Steve Pelletier off to get a load of water for the many
showers we took.
( Thanks to Steve, we were clean smelling crowd ).
Well that's all folks. I will post the Canyon Creek pictures
when I shoot up my 35mm film, stay tuned.
And THANKS to the guy who rescued Travis. He had
got his baggy pants leg
sucked into the Hodaka drive chain and was held prisoner for awhile.
This guy had to remove the sidecase from the engine to remove his shredded
pants and put the chain back on track. All done in the desert "outback".
Travis was not hurt and promptly switched to his "Yamaha" riding pants
when he got back to camp.
Two bikes ( or 3 ? ) and one buggy had their engines seize ( bummer
)
this weekend and the only person who was hurt was Steve Stiles
when he grabbed a hot buggy exhaust while switching two buggy
motors.
Other than that it was a great weekend.
