| THE ADVENTURES OF RUNS LIKE WIND INTRODUCTION | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It was a time not so long ago, when things were much different from the way we know them today, a time when this country had an innocence to it, like that of a young child. The ground was unspoiled, the air was clean, and the water was pure. It was a time when growing up on this earth meant having a close relationship with it, respecting it, and being a part of it. For a young Indian boy growing up in these times, the experiences he had as a child would mold him into what he would become as an adult. Runs Like Wind was such a boy, a boy with an appealing smile, who seemed to be a happy child. Though deep inside this boy would come many conflicts, conflicts he alone could resolve. Only then could he become the person he so desperately wanted to be. |
