Self Introducing
Hi everyone, my name is Ran Chu.
I born and grown in a small city of china, named ChangSha. It is neither close to the Beijing nor near the Hong Kong. It is deep in the mainland of china. Since I was little, I have been the quaintest kid in my class. People know my as shy and least opinion. Back in China, my father was a teacher in an university and my mother was a doctor in an hospital. One day, my father got a job in America. Soon my mother comes to America too. Quickly i followed. I was 15 years old when I arrive Chicago and stayed there ever since.
I had four year high school in Hubbard High. I loved learning arts and playing music there. I was a saxophone player in matching band for 2 years. I was not very good at it. I also enjoyed pencil drawing and oil painting. I think I did good in pencil drawing. Finally I graduated in 2002.
After high school I enrolled in DeVry Electronic Engineer Technology program. I'm pretty good with computers and electronic gadgets. Also, knowing the inference of Y2K created a job over-supply in computer science, I chose EET rather than computer science. During 4 year of college, I work in school as IT assistant for 2 years. One time I was chosen to work as local administrator of a small camp. DeVry has many camps, some of the small camps share the IT department with larger camps near by. I went to the small camp once a week. The main job is to maintain the computers and computer related equipments. It was an easy job but sometimes could be very busy. That period enhanced my computer skill greatly. While working in DeVry, I got my drive license and bought a car with support of my parents. At the last half year of my program, I switch my job form IT department to teachers assistant. The job task is to help students with their labs and answer questions about class materials, but not homework. It was a good review for my earlier class. There were few times I have to re-read the text book and ask question to my teachers. I surprised how much detail I have forgotten, which I was very good at a year ago. I wish I could keep that job longer. But next thing I know is I'm a bachelor electronic engineer graduate. Graduation dated June 25, 2006. At here I want to thanks all my teachers, my bosses and my friends that helped my alot over the four years.
Right now i'm looking for a new chapter of my life. Which are get a job and support my self. Maybe along the way go for master and PhD in electronic engineer.
