A Site Developed For College Bound

Initial Site Development Survey
Well, I am finally getting around to one of the things on my list of
'things I always wanted to do'. I have spoken about this idea with some
of you....
Think back to the time when you were choosing a university to attend for
your academics and your athletic career. There was so much information
being thrown at you...and of course everyone was telling you how great
their program was. Some of us made the best decision for our academic
and/or running career....some of us...well let's say...we have learned
extensively from our blunders.
My goal is to share the things that you think you did correctly when you
were deciding to attend a university...and to also share the things that
you would do differently. So many athletes have to try and select a
school that is best for them...but we all know that it is a very hard
decision. Every school (usually) looks GREAT while you are visiting!!!
So what I ask of you is a few minutes of your time to answer the
following questions:
1. If you were decided on a university to attend today, what steps would
you take to help insure that your choice was the best one for you?
2. If you are a transfer student athlete, you are VERY
important. What aspects of the previous program made you transfer? What
did you do differently the SECOND time you were on a hunt for the school
that best fit your needs? And do you think you have found it?
All comments will be kept confidential. Only generic comments will be
posted. My plan is to 'publish' a pamphlet via the internet...so all
prospective collegiate athletes have access to the information.
I would love to hear what you have to say. The web site has been
established but it is not as extensive or broad based that I would like.
Your help and input would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested,
I can let you know about the progress of the web site.
