and not an F. Course Description: EN 101 seeks to help you refine your ability to express yourself well in academic written English. The goal is to assist you in producing several short expository essays that are unified, well organized and grammatically clear. The most common rhetorical patterns will be practiced and we will look at model essays in order to determine what makes them successful. We will also analyze and practice transitional expressions to develop cohesion and coherence in expression. PLAGIARISM Academic Dishonesty, as stated on page 28 of the Northern
