| Mock Interview with Paul Marceli | |||||||||||||||||||
Welcome ladies and gentlemen! Today we will be having a very special phone interview with Mr. Paul Marceli, better known as the Verizon "Can you hear me now?" guy. I have to admit, every since his commer-cials first started airing, I have been Dying to get this man on the phone. However, his travels and work have kept him so busy that he could not comply. That is, until today. I have Mr. Marceli on the phone right now, and seeing how his time is short, I say we get started with this interview... |

| RT: Mr. Marceli, are you there? PM: Yes I am, and because I'm on the new Verizon cellular phone, I can hear you perfectly. RT: Well great! I'm happy to hear that, Mr. Marceli. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been on my cell phone and haven't been able to hear what the other person is saying. It's very refreshing to know that someone has finally taken our complaints seriously and given us a service worth having. PM: Oh, I understand... it's not easy to get a good service, but I think Verizon has finally come up with a winner. And please, call me Paul. RT: OK, thank you... can I call you Paulie? PM: No RT: All right then.... Paul. Now, I know you're pressed for time, so I'll try to make this interview short. I think the one main question that's on everyone's mind is... What it's like working for one of the largest cellular companies in the world? PM: Well, I'll tell you... The pay is pretty good, but the biggest perk is the travel. By being involved with these commercials, I've had the opportunity to travel all over the world, I've been to places I didn't even know existed! RT: That's wonderful! And I'll bet that it's very exciting going to all those places and meeting new people. I heard somewhere that they may even be sending you to do a tour of Alaska for a new line of commercials for that area, is it true? PM: I can't really confirm that yet, but yes, they do have some new commercials in the works. RT: Excellent! If you do get to go, I'll be expecting a postcard from you letting me know how it's going... PM: Oh, you can count on it! RT: Thank You! OK, I'm getting the signal from my producer over there, that it's time to wrap this interview up. I do have one more question for you before we go, though. PM: Shoot. RT: << Let's loose with her Super Duper Mega Blaster Air Horn into the phone. Then... in an evil little whisper >> Can you hear me now? RT: Well ladies and gentlemen, I think we're done with Mr. Marceli. I feel much better now, how about you? Please, join me again next week when I attempt an interview with Mr. Ben Curtis, better known as "The Dell Computer Guy." << Wink Wink >> |

| Please Note: Once again, this is a Mock Interview. A figment of my imagination and a product of having way to much time on my hands. If I have offended anyone, I sincerely apologize. Thank You. | |||||||||||||||||||
| OH! And by the way, that picture up there... Is a Joke. I made it myself. No disrespect intended. Any resemblence to the Real Paul Marceli is purely coincidental. | |||||||||||||||||||
