Mock Interview with David Byrne

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen! We have a slight change of plans for today. We were suppose to be interviewing the great musical genius,
Patrick Burns. However, he couldn't make it, so we get the next best thing... David Byrne!
Mr. Byrne is probably best know for his 80's musical group,
The Talking Heads, who's hits include Burning Down the House and -my personal favorite- Psycho Killer!
More recently, Mr. Byrne has proved himself to be quite the photographer, as well. His book
Strange Ritual was on the top 10 list of the NY Times for the 95 Christmas Season. (to learn more, click here X ).
So it's goes without saying, that I am thrilled to have him here today!
<<knock, knock>>
And there he is....

RT: Good morning Mr. Byrne, and welcome to my studio.

DB: Good morning, thank you for having me.

RT: Oh, it's my pleasure! I have to tell you though, I was all
prepared to be interviewing Patrick Burns today, so I don't
really have any specific questions for you. We'll have to wing
       it, so to speak.

DB: That's OK.

RT: By the way, can I call ya Davie?

DB: No.

RT: Well alrighty then, shall we get started?

DB: Sure.

RT: Umm... Let me see here. I guess you're not familiar with

Flight of Years, a Patrick Burns original -and one of my
       favorite musical scores- are you?

DB: No, sorry.

RT: How about
Music for a Celebration, the one Patrick Burns
did as an opening piece for concerts?

DB: No.

RT:
Lighted Streets on  Quiet Nights?

DB: No.

RT: Umm... OK, you're going to have to help me out here... what
       music Do you know?

DB: Burning Down the House

RT: Oh yeah, Burning Down the House really Rocks...

DB: Yep.

RT: <<looking nervously at her hands after several minutes of
awkward silence>>... so... do you like cats?

DB: I really have to go now...

RT: OK then! There you have it folks... David Byrne!
Please Note: Once again, this is a Mock Interview. A figment of my imagination and a product of having way to much time on my hands. If I have offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.
Thank You.
