Rumah Nur Hikmah, the home for orphans and single mothers, was set up in January 2005.
It is built to provide a comfortable living, protection and happiness to its occupants. It is meant to provide adequate education to the children so that they do not fall behind others and giving them an opportunity to success as other more fortunate children. A majority of the single mothers and children who live in this home are from Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor.
Currently, there are 45 orphans comprising 20 boys and 15 girls at an age range of 2-15 years old. They are taken care of by guardians whom are also single mothers. Albeit the 5-10 years of establishment, the home is still lacking some basic necessities. Therefore any assistance is much welcomed.
