After receiving the news that she is the new Rose Princess and seeing that the orphans now view Wendy's stories about the "Stray Dog" as nothing more than lies, Susan sees Wendy out in dark, rainy night. The girls leave Jennifer and go to laugh at her, but she quickly goes after them once she starts hearing screams and loud sounds. As she approaches the orphanage front doors, they open, revealing the Prince, Joshua, and the Stray Dog, Gregory. Joshua instructs the man to kill Jennifer. |

| Even as an adult, Jennifer finds herself too scared to fight this terror from her past. It seems like she will be killed for sure, when Brown suddenly returns to aid her. Seeing him reminds Jennifer of the lesson that he taught her in death-to never back down out of fear and stand up for what you believe is right. She tries harder and manages to win against Stray Dog, then hurries outside to check on the others. |

|
The clothes of the others are scattered over the front yard, symboling them having been eaten(murdered), by the Stray Dog. Joshua comes out and takes off his wig to reveal he is actually Wendy. The fallen princess tells Jennifer how jealous she felt of Brown and how hurt she was that she did not realize it had been her trying to make Jen remember their promise. She apologizes, handing her Gregory's gun, before being picked up and pulled into the darkness of the orphanage by Stray Dog, who then comes out to kill Jennifer. She is hesitant to use the gun to kill him, but hands it over when she hears him begging his son for forgiveness. He seems to finally understand his son is dead and the things he has done, then takes his own life. Brown barks and runs off, away from the orphanage. Jen follows, and the pair are enveloped in a white light. |
