Fred looks at the mountain man with suspicion, but Astra begins to
pant in excitment!
Could it be.....the man I heard the barkeep discuss? the little
warrior princess thinks to herself. The mountain man/were-bear/mage
who buys drinks, but nurses them all night? The one that....sounded like
from rumors floating around this bar.....is in legue with some mysterious....arcane
creatures that are "would be do-gooders"? Stepping into a possible conflict
between the Pack and the pirates sounds like something he'd do....from
rumors......
Maybe I need not change my features? the mage thinks as he senses
the powerful emissions coming from Fred's pocket (that happens to contain
the Crystallic. Could these pups ACTUALLY have the item I've been looking
for.....for so long?! If it is, then I can just stand up that fool of a
pirate! Fate made it look like he was the only way, but now......perhaps
not! All anyone will know is that a mysterious mountain man with raven
black hair was here....not the flame red haired mountain man.....known
as Synizn.......
