After that, we were not only soon able to fix that voice problem, but some other pressing concerns as well! Our groups are united. We get that traumatized Pilot not only safely OFF the now brain dead Leviathan ship, but turned the tables on that cannibalistic wacko who ran things on that prison ship! Where we take both Pilot and wacko AFTER we finish up with the second Leviathan (Elack) who'd been sucked into this space I'll get to here in a moment. Be patient.

The first Key Carrier gathered up and bundled up into a crystal cube we now went over to the OTHER Leviathan. This one was from (of COURSE) a Farscape universe that was following Betty's favorite TV (Hm, one of her favorite) shows up to the point of an episode called Crichton Kicks (re: http://www.scifi.com/farscape/journeylogs/season4/crichtonkicks.html). Indeed, things HAD been going that way on the ship until WE step into the picture . . . more or less. See, there had been a crossover already in progress. The pirate's Bridz Hound (blood tracker, nasty) had been replaced by a creature from that one scifi horror movie: The Thing.

Oh Creator....!

....

The thing quickly, silently, and efficiently replaced the original pirates until only the handful of Grudeks hunting the native Crichton and "Pscyho-zu". We get the upper hand, but like I'd said, the only Grudeks who'd not been assimilated where those who'd been hunting . WE used the manual overrides for atmospheric controls, cordoning off the areas with US in it and the Elack's Pilot (who'd remained unmolested by "The Thing" infected people about her). We snuffed every OTHER organic creature aboard, just to be safe after collecting our target, that Hound!

....

No jokes about nuking the site from orbit being the only way of being sure, please....

We DID do thorough scans with tricorders of all quadrants (including on the native Crichton who'd had a "CLOSE" encounter with the thing abit ago) and such to make sure . . . DAMN sure that nothing "infected" had survived....

....

Damn monster is the scariest thing we'd ever encountered to DATE....

Anyway, we do a bit of "fixing" in order to put some things to right.

Sikozu had been betrayed by her employers, the Grudeck, but still needed them. Information supplied (and her confirming) said that her race had been overthrown by the Scarrans and she'd gotten into this Organization (which had arranged this disastrous Grudeck job) so to get eventually into a position to help overthrow her race's overlords. In the show things had fallen apart for her in THAT regards (i.e. that route got closed off and HOW). What we Champions do is kind of . . . use some things to our advantage, shall we say. We knock out the surviving Grudecks and feed them a bit of Lethe water to erase a portion of their short term memory. We also rough them up a bit so that they have injuries consistent with a jarring encounter with an accidental explosion (brought about according to the story we cook up) by their precious Brindz Hound jostling something it shouldn't have. Story goes that shed found a working Transport Pod, managed to get these banged up survivors onto the pod and away before the Leviathan completely fell apart (into very minute pieces from secondary explosions and such). We used the brain dead Leviathan (blew IT up with some of my . . . more exotic explosive techniques) as the mockup for Elack by sending IT to that Sacred Place the Grudecks had been raiding to give the lie substance. It not only was (we hope) useful in getting Sikozu back into the Grudecks good graces, but got the brain dead Leviathan to a place where his kind are burried.

As an aside, I dont like Sikozu (way to cold and calculating, mercenary, for my tastes) but I felt for her peoples plight. That is why I and the others helped her. Besides, it got her out of our hair!!

That done, we had Elack take us to Arnessk (the world found in the Crichton Kicks realm) , where the blocks we had collected (the female pixie and that infected Hound) were to be delivered. Only thing is that we had to bring forth a . . . really beautiful golden temple which had been warped into a time warp by some kind of strange weapons called Darnaz Probes (created some kind of magnetic storm when a Darnez Triangle messed up the planet). Wed arrived just when things had become (for a short time) livable for a bit (at the same time as some kind of archeological dig team). To get the temple back, according to Betty and Ragan, we had to find the probes. Activate said probes a prescribed distance, and THAT would reverse the triangle (and bring the temple and its priests) back to reality.

We did and so we made a quick delivery . . . much to the chagrin of those whod just landed here, more or less . . . and then we scatted!

But of course, even WHEN wed gotten basically everyone back to their home realities . . . we had some snags. The Chiana twins from Eat Me and the Chiana from Crichton Kicks took a shine to each other. The later joined up with the former, going over to their reality to live and play. She was taking Jools place. Yeah, shed be replacing the Jool whod met with her analog on Arnessk WE helped that along by (through people the Chianas knew) for the visiting Chiana to get proper identity papers and all that. Was easy enough to do when we also had to take the visitor Jool to a place where her features could be altered enough (and identity paperwork provided) good enough so that she no longer would be mistaken for the native Jool (whos grown fond of her and vice versa, doppleganger reaction stuff). She now looked like close kin. Family. She also had some rather good educational credentials to be VERY attractive to the dig team wed left behind on Arnesk (whod need help with the priests, temple, and the other treasures of archeological types now revealed). She and the native Jool were going to have a HECK of a great time, fulfilling their dreams that way...

That done, okay. But we had promised to later on when we could, pick up the Chianas so that the one who had eye problems (powers that allowed her to see things with utter, very detailed clarity in slow motion but with longer and longer bouts of blindness with each use) could get them fixed.

We still have things to do. . . . more Validation Quests to help with, but at least this one had been good! 1
