Demifox Astra - Think of Astar 3, except that she and Fred got waylaid by a bunch of demifoxes who thought that they were somehow servants of the dragons. After finding out that Fred and Astra had been human transformed somehow through something like lycanthropy (something that actual demifoxes of this world are not, not lycanthropic) and that the Crystallic held the means of bringing this about....and a means of their cure. Fearful of what this might endanger all of demifox kind, they kept the two adventurers under lock and key and were trying to determine what to do with them. Tests were going to be run to see if these two were lycanthropically cursed or not....but the results got interrupted by a bunch of silver eyed men (servants of the Book of the Red Pyramid) swept down and kidnapped Fred and Astra to the Red Pyramid on Nantucket Earth.

The Book magical adjustments were made upon her , Fred, and their unborn demifox kits to better make them suitable for it's future plans. Since the lycanthropic nature of their bodies would interfere with it's plans, the made them into true demifoxs......of the Terran Prime variety. Also, in Astra's case, since the unborn would disrupt it's magical rituals that the Book had planned, it accelerated Astra's pregnancy to where she gave birth to her six infants soon upon arriving inside the Red Pyramid.

Astra soon came to the shocking realization as she watched the normal analogous versions of themselves that.....she somehow saw them as.....deformed and too big as human beings (kept on expecting to see demifox features on them.....and they were just too big). Soon came to realize that it was due to changes done to his (and the other demifoxes) Matrixes. When it became clear that there was a good future for him, Astra, and the children on Terra Prime.....the last dredges of resistance to his change vanished and desire to return to being human disappeared.

Has fallen for her Fred and her six children. At first, when the kits came out she wanted nothing at all to do with them, except for the others to take the "horrid things" away. This protest collapsed and disappeared when she looked upon her children.....and her heart melted when she saw the cute things!

Took the name of "Demifox Astra" to help differentiate themselves from the others.

Became a Champion to the Rules and Agents.

Synizn 3 - Think of the Synizn of the Alternate Walants Universe 3, except things went a bit differently for him here. First, at the offset after Malachi sent the demifoxes his way, he had been listening in via their magical translators to keep tabs on them. Was more than a bit annoyed that Fred and Astra got themselves captured by those other demifoxes, and decided that these poor saps weren't worth his time and effort so hired a thief to sneak into the demifox complex and steal the Crystallic so he could use it to cure himself of his lycanthropic curse (which was a bit different from that of Terra Prime in that he had to relearn how to caste magic in his new cursed form because his draconic talents hadn't translated). That made him especially crabby, to say the least even before meeting Fred and Astra. That said, he basically washed his hands on the problem facing Fred and Astra, who he considered menaces anyway for being dragon slayers.

Surpise, however!

When Demifox Fred and Demifox Astra became Champions, they asked for a boom from the Rules and Agents. Happily the Celestrials agreed and.....while the grumpy werebear was in the woods on his way back to his house in Walants to await the thief....he suddenly found himself a dragon again and the lycanthropy cured!

Was more than shocked to find out who was responsible....and it was a paradign shift (without using the clutch...almost). Honorable he was, however, and saw that it was his duty (and pleasure) to swear himself to his benefactors. He's learning now, just how wrong his preconception of human beings had been.

In order to be able to reach Demifox Fred and Demifox Astra, he needed the aid of the Rules and Agents to reach Nantucket Earth to help get them and the others out of the Red Pyramid. Thus he became a Champion as well. See, he found out about his benefactors by eavesdropping in on them via their translators....and heard the offer of Championship to all those in the Pyramid (and those who were listening in).....

Is now recuperating from the draining magical battle to free the prisoners inside the Red Pyramid. Is resting in Nantucket.

Is a deeply religious person and loves his goddess, Tiamat, dearly...... Who sometimes even appears to talks to him while he prays.....

Grailing - This is one of the oldest being on the face of the world which is a parallel version of Terra Prime, something over ten thousand years old. He is the analog of Ke'lan of Terra Prime. Came from the days before Atlantis came in and started making war on all the non-human nations. Ke'lan was a crown prince of the olden Elven Nations at the time. Was a Paladin to his gods and an acomplished and talented mage. Saw the danger that Atlantis presented and tried to get his arrogant parents to see the wisdom of uniting with the other races against the threat. His efforts fell on deaf ears, however.

Survived the fall of his nation to Altantis and was able to hide from detection from the invaders until the fall of Atlantis. Was trapped inside the forest that the capital city resided in, the sole survivor of a magical mishap brought about by an arrogant (and now dead) Atlantian mage. Found that he couldn't leave the confines of the forest and the forest itself had taken on a malign sentience of it's own.

Getting increasingly desperate of getting free by some means, Ke'lan used the only means he had. He'd been working on creating a living puppet that could be controlled from afar (a Proxy he called it) and would have used it to spy upon the Atlantians.....if he'd gotten the chance. Now, however, he was going to create a Proxy to be able to go outside the Forrest while his body rested in magical hibernation. He called this Proxy by the name Grailing, an elfin ranger, and hid his real identity from the surviving elves, figuring that the resulting government that would eventually come to replace what had been lost would be far superior than the relic he'd be. Had lost faith in his gods and the old ways due to seeing his mighty nation falling and wanted to wipe the past and live for the future. Due to a overbearing desire to escape the Forrest in any manner, didn't take the time to instill the ability to cast magical spells in his new Proxy body (which was the size of the Servant cast....the farthest away from the Ruling caste that he'd come to hate). Well worth the time saved, for it gave him the means so much quicker to be able to step his outside the Forrest and into the surrounding world.

Thus began his odyssey.

Over the years he came to know many people and see many events through his Proxy. Though his actual mind and body was still in the Forrest......he was able to reach out through Grailing and interact with the outside world. Over the course of things he learned many things about the odd creatures known as human beings. Though not totally understanding them, he saw them as having potential. Good enough to inherit the world that the elven race seemed doomed to depart from sooner or later (for some reason the elven......ability to reproduce had been sapped by a large part.....to were elven numbers kept falling.....and falling). He even found a replacement for an emptiness in his life once filled by his now departed belief in elven gods (found it in a strange human religion, though didn't advertise this fact). He even was able to befriend a dwarf or three along the way through life.

Some elves would call him the perfect example of what an elf should be.

Other would say quite the opposite.....

Then one night he had business within the city of Wallants and everything changed. A bunch of silvery eyed beings who looked human but were powerful golems ripped through the city, casting spells of transformation or death at all those who stood in their way. Then, upon reaching a certain point inside the city, they immolated themselves and a large swath of the surruounding metropolis. Having been fortunate indeed on arriving at the city gates after the Silver Eyes passing, Grailing found a dazed red haired elf in need of assistance. Turns out that that red haired elf had actually been that world's version of Tarin Gazin (a dwarf) who'd been tagged by one of the Silver Eye's transformation spells. Soon met the adventuring team headed by Astra 9 and Jarlath and after they helped him get the still shell shocked former dwarf to a place where he could be helped Grailing soon fell in with them in their quest to deliver two messages. That and....he soon met the future version of Ti'mma D'Honaire and the poor elf's world got turned upside down. Falling permanently in love with the silver tressed elfin woman, Grailing pledged his hand to her. What exactly happened next isn't known to Jarlath's group (Grailing won't tell due to possible time paradox), but the short of it he'd become a Champion of the Rules and Agents as well.

That said, he was going to be going with his friends back to Terra Prime (and meet again the elfin lass known as Ti'mma, though she'd hadn't met him yet and was all of ten years old)....

Brave like his analog brother, was able to defeat the Entity that was sapping the vitality of his race (causing their population to looked doomed to fade) in single combat. His original body was destroyed, but like his brother he found himself alive still in his Proxy body....just like he'd been born to it. However, instead of gaining the Throne of Emperor of the Elven Nation, he instead declined. He feels that they can do well enough without him and.....he's....rather fond of roaming about free and not tied down like that. Upon becoming a Champion he'd asked and was granted the boon of his "true" name of "Ke'lan" not have the trigger it would otherwise would have had. Said aloud it would have alerted every elf in the world of his existence and his special origin's. He'd never be able to go anywhere without being known and would have every elf clamoring for him to be their Emperor. Now, his name is just "Grailing" and he's happy with that.

Besides, his "brother" back on Terra Prime didn't need the competition he'd give him if he came and lived on Terra Prime. Can't have two Emperors, you see...

Tarin Gazin 2 - This is the red haired elf that Grailing found in a daze after the Silver Eyes attacked and destroyed Wallants. used to be a dwarf but caught a transformation bolt from one of the Silver Eyes. Would perhaps lost his mind if not for the efforts of Grailing and his new friends (Jarlath's group). They couldn't transform him back but they could place him in a setting where he could perhaps adjust. See, an elfin setting with some decided dwarven features would do the trick, it was hoped. Grailing knew of a elfin enclave that secretly worshiped dwarven gods (that is a tale in and of itself). Tarin, a devout follower of the head dwarven god of that pantheon (a diety called the Forge), would find comfort and aid there.

As it is, it did work, but something extra came into play.

While recovering still, Tarin had a Vision of where if he went out and joined with Grailing's group, he would be able to meet not only the Forge's avator in the flesh (which happens to be Diane Walker), but also have his heart's desire fulfilled.

Excited beyond words, Tarin rushes off and tracks down the group by the quickest means available. Knowing from what his elfin benafactors told him, he books a charter on a gnomish flying machine (dangerous device) and arrives just as Jarlath's group is trying to make a hasty exit from the shadowtown they'd visited.

Joined up (almost against the other folks' wills) and soon travelled with them back to wherever they were heading.

Over time, it soon became unclear to Gazin what his heart's desire would be. As a dwarf that was simple enough. Gold, and lots of it!! But as an elf he increasingly finds that it may not be so simple.

As the trip continues his mannerisms become increasingly elvish in expression and the final shift happens when, while taking a break to relieve himself, he meets his heart's desire.

A TARDIS of one of the Doctor's has come from the future with a grown Jenny elf aboard. The elfin woman, already bound to Tarin, meets the former dwarf turned elf. Tarin's heart chooses Jenny as it's souldmate and Tarin is forever bound to Jenny.

In the course of that, he also became a Champion of the Rules and Agents. As with Grailing, will not tell the details of how it happened for fear of a time paradox....

Now, this dwarf must go back with the others to actually meet the contemporary Jenny to fulfill his destiny. On that meeting between the contemporary (twenlve year old) Jenny and himself, her heart will bind itself to his....completing a rather odd cycle.

A good enough fellow, as a dwarf he had gone off to Wallants to make his fortune. As a bodygaurd/inkblotter for "his" Rift, he was witness to many human failings. However, had already given pretty much up on the human race so figured that humans being humans and all that... Would never have participated or allowed anything like what happened back in Wallants to happen in civilized Dwarven society!

At least, if nothing else, the encounter with Jarlath's group gave the former dwarf a better sampling of humanity than what Wallants offered....

Has married his love, Jenny Elf, and now presently is adventuring with her in other realms with friends!
