Many people don't know what an anime is. Anime means japanese animation or cartoon. Anime is very popular in Japan, where there a huge store dedicated to anime. The anime have a variety of themes to cater for everybody. In the western societies, cartoons are classified "just for kids." In Japan, however, anime is enjoyed by all people including adults.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is an anime and manga. Evangelion is nearly 5 years old, but is still very popular. It is a very unique anime.

In Japan, some of the anime hae been turned into movies. Neon Genesis
Evangelion is one of those anime. The movies of Evangelion, "Death:Rebith"
and "The End of Evangelion," have released in Japan quite
some time ago. Even so, the western countries has yet to experience
this phenomenon.It
has been said that the films might be released in 2001, but this
is still very uncertain.
