| We lost our beloved Nipsy on July 4th, 2008 to a horrible accident. She was the best, happiest, silliest, most wonderful little tiny birdie, and we will miss her forever. We got Nipsy from a breeder/vet, and completed her hand-feeding. She had a major trauma when she was about a year old: Coolio attacked her and ripped off half of her bottom beak. It never grew back, but she didn't care. We filed it every month, and she never had any troubles eating or playing. She was the best little parrotlet, and we cannot believe she is gone. She was the victim of an attack by the big Candyman. He escaped from his cage while we were elsewhere in the house. We will never forgive ourselves for this accident. Candy is just a big dummy. He does not know his own strength. Nipsy was the only bird was ever bought as a gift. |
