DRAWING & PAINTING

    Aims & objective of the course

      The course aims at providing the child with an opportunity to get acquainted with the finer aspects of art and drawing during his\her schooling days.

      This course will serve as a foundation to any career in the field of art and creativity

      The child can do this without feeling the pressure of studying another subject

       RULES

      This is a 5 years course in Drawing and Painting.

      Children above 6 years of age may enrol.

      Examinations will be held in May and December every year.

      Child may attend free classes every Saturday from 4-6 P.M. at the Institute.

      Child may study elsewhere and just appear for the exam.

      Examination Fee will be Rs 300/- per year.

      Course syllabus has been outlined for each year.

      Students will appear for a 3-6 hours practical examination & submitt the practical work.

      Children have the option to appear regularly or do the course within of 10 years

      Children above 10 years of age can give both 1st year and 2nd year together.

      Qualification & Age -No Bar

       Brief outline of the course syllabus:-

        !st Year        Medium Pencil

      Drawing of basic shapes and forms. Making object from these forms. Object Drawing - Cup, Plate, Saucer, Glass, Spoon, Fork, Knife, Jug, Bowl, Kettle.

      2nd Year       Medium  Pencil and Crayons

      Composition of shapes and forms 10 Types of fruits and vegetables each.

       3rd Year        Medium Pencil crayon poster colours

      Nature Study & Still life

          4th Year         Medium Pencil charcoal pen poster and water colours

     Situation drawing, Stick figures, Parts of a body.

     5th Year         Medium Pencil charcoal pen, poster and water colours

     Memory drawing, rendering, scenery, poster drawing
