| Although the skirt was still too long for me, it amazingly didn't get very dirty at all. It was freezing cold, misting, showering, and muddy at the feast. The hem barely got wet, and showed no terrible stains after it dried. It's a wonder dress! I spent about ten minutes making a pattern and cutting and sewing the partlet so I wouldn't freeze or look silly in the cold weather with a low cut bodice. It was an amazingly comfortable and durable outfit to wear. |
