Hearing the dull thud upon your door you immediately leap from the couch, spilling coffee upon your robe and burning your skin. You throw the robe and drop your night shorts. Running naked across the room you rush into your room and grab the emergency suitcase and quickly open the chest to retrieve a Magnum and a Desert Eagle from within. Checking the clips, full you grab the rest of the spare clips and jam them between your pants and waists once you are dressed within black slacks and a green shirt that you had taken to. Leaping from the window two stories up you land softly on your feet.
Many years of practice and you had learned how to land without hurting yourself or making a noise. Silently you take the corner to the parking lot and locate your car. You had been drunk last night and found that your parking job was far from perfect and you had taken up two parking spaces, both not yours. Forgetting this for you probably wouldn�t return you slammed the door shut as you kicked in the ignition. Taking a speeding start you burned rubber and smoke from your tires was all that was left once you caught traction.
Taking the exit onto the highway you sped past as you shadow shifted. A hellride was needed and this was the place for it. Or a helldrive I suppose you would call it since you were in a car. You preferred horse though it would be strange having a horse upon a highway and this was a faster way to leave those at your apartment door in the dust.
CHOICES:
Choice 1: Keep on the highway, go as far as you can and stay on shadow earth stop shadow shifting
Choice 2: Shadow shift to a far place where you can settle once more
Choice 3: Kick those guys assess and fight it out
