| CHOICE 3: Along the highway you quickly swerved into oncoming traffic and over the barrier that divided the traffic. Taking the highway back you were back at were you started and this time you were ready. Dressing into your Amber outfit of Black and Green in a royal manner that had the look that you were on your way to a prestige's dance. Looking your best was a pet peeve when fighting a family member, learning that from your father.
Once you reached your apartment you noticed the door had been knocked down and you flattened against the wall next to your apartment with both guns out. Hearing voices from the inside you recognized Caine's voice. "That Ratfink!" you whispered beneath your breath. Checking the clips once more, a nervous habit you jumped between the door way and found Caine within the main room and saw movements behind the two other doors. One man accompanied Caine, a muscular man that looked as though his arms were twice the size of your legs. Glad for the pistols you let off a shot and took the beefy man down with a shot to the head. Caine turned and shouted for his minions to do his bidding. With a smile he waited as two more of the same sized men came upon you. Taking one down before the other was upon you. He tackled you and managed to knock the Desert Eagle out of your hand, the weaker of the two but that didnt give you any advantage or disadvantage at the time. You were as good as useless as the man handled you like a play toy. Caine was still were he was originally and bore a stare at you of pure amusement. Fighting with your arms was useless. You tried a knee and it hit home. Rolling the man over as he clutched his groin. You stood and let off three shots into his head. Feeling useless in that situation had the anger bubbling and you quickly retrieved the Desert Eagle. Caine's smile that spread across his face had disappeared and that put a smile on yours. Caine dispatched his cloak and retrieved his sword that hung at his belt. He wished to fight by sword and you were willing. Throwing aside the guns and retrieving your own blade that was within your suitcase and you had clasped to your belt you loosened the scabbard and drew the blade. Both of you used a long thin blade so neither had an advantage in that case. Caine advancing and you turning in an arch you both were fighting within your apartment and one would die and the other would triumph. Caine advancing with a flourish of the blade came on in a strong attack. Parry was all that you could do for the moment. Coming upon the back wall in your retreat you took a quick turn and struck at Caine. He parried and shifted towards you without missing a step. He was good and would not be tricked my simple ones such as that. You would have to improvise if you were to survive. Caine's onslaught continued and he continually backed you up against a wall. Each time you turned and he regained composure without ever seeming to lose it. You came up with a few ideas and each failed worse then the one before. Tripping upon the man that you killed first you threw yourself forward and your cloak flew over your shoulder becoming entangled with Caines sword. With a falter Caine removed his sword and continued. He had faltered and you knew what had caused it. Keeping up the pace with parry's you found the perfect time to try and you flourished your cloak as if to bow to a lady and it fell upon Caines sword. Grasping the cloak and the sword beneath you twisted it and it became entangled and you had the grasp upon it. A look of fear came into Caines eyes just before your sword penetrated through his middle. Holding him there for a few seconds Caine muttered something inaudible and before he could finish you stabbed deeper. His death curse shall not be cast and you stopped it. If he had uttered the rest it would have certainly been hell for you. Though now he was dead and hopefully that was the end of things. You returned to your peaceful life within another apartment for the landlord evicted you after finding four dead people within your section and you had to find another. Your life went on and Amberites were of no bother. THE END |
