Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniqutiy, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. (KJV)
Love does not behave unseemly. For men, that means acting like a gentleman toward others. For women, it is acting what some know as lady like. Love will be decent in all aspects towards others. There will never be any act of vulgarity toward others. We must learn to respect others and show kindness to them. Sometimes it is hard for us to show respect when the others do not. When others are not decent toward us we tend to act the same way they act toward us to them. However, in Matthew 5:44, Jesus tells us to even love our enemies. That is the hardest thing to do sometimes. However, we should still show respect and kindness and be decent toward our enemies as well. Give them water and give them food to eat. So let us be decent toward one another and take away any uncleaness with our mouth and deeds toward others. Let us work on showing true love toward others.
