Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.(NKJV)
John 16:23-24
And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
From those verses we can see that God wants for us to be filled with joy! Why does He want that for us? Because He loves us! Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice not just to save us from our sins, but to give us a bridge to God. If Jesus had not died for us, we would not be able to have a relationship with our creator. That means God hears everything we ask, since He hears everything we ask and He loves us so much, He gives it to us. Don't be afraid to ask God for something because God loves us too much and will forgive us for foolish requests. What I mean by foolish requests are requests that are not from the spirit, but from the flesh. Meaning, when you ask for stuff from God, don't ask if you can sin, it is just foolishness. When Jesus said "Ask using My name..." He meant in the stature and authority of himself. We are to ask God as Jesus asked, and remember that whenever Jesus prayed to God, His prayers were answered, meaning since His prayers were answered, ours will be answered all the time. Have no doubt in your heart when you pray, it's already been answered. And also, remember to keep going after if you haven't already received it. Meaning, you keep on stating that you already have it to everyone you meet. It is a great way to tell others about God and witness to others for Him. So, believe your prayers have been answered, and then believe again! Never stop believing that God will bless you daily!
