The Friday Contest
       Welcome to the Friday Contest!  Here's how it works:
       Every Friday I will post 13 scrambles (I get them from this program), 12 for an average and 1 if you pop a piece.  Solve each scramble, then send your times to [email protected] by the next Friday (due before midnight unless otherwise noted, CST/CDT) and I will post the results soon afterwards.  Please also note what contest your results are for.  You are allowed up to 15 seconds of inspection for each cube.  You may use any timer, preferably one that measures to the hundredth of a second.  If you measure to the second, .5 will be added to the avg.  You may include a quote if you wish, and if you have any questions, please email me at the above address.  If you do not include your individual times, you will be placed last unless you send them in afterwards, within the time allotted (such as forgetting to include them).  If you do not include your average, you cannot be ranked.
        An addition to the FC is the rankings.  Participants get 4 points for winning, three for 2nd place, two for 3rd place, and one point just for competing (and not placing).  Entries up to one day late will be accepted, but only awarded one point, regardless of the average.  However, if you notify me before the deadline, I will allow you to compete without being labeled "late" or losing points.  See the link below for the standings.
